Who's in charge? Executive chef, Brian Houghson has an impressive CV — formerly of the Dorchester Grill, he won a Michelin star while head chef at Gary Rhodes W1 and was personal chef to Prince Charles.
If it's good enough for royalty... Exactly. Start with cocktails on the terrace, then head to the Restaurant and opt for the Cornish mackerel appetiser, followed by the roast loin of salt marsh lamb. The less formal Barn is perfect for Sunday lunch.
What else? Enjoy feeling as if you're in a Ralph Lauren ad. This country house estate is all immaculate meadows and polo fields, used by Guards Polo Club. Feeling inspired? Stables on site offer riding for all levels.
